When necessity was the mother of invention. ⁣

⁣I developed this style of silhouette illustration because Polaroid hoped to somehow get an image of their camera model on the side of the package even though they wouldn’t spend the money needed for coated paper stock and four-color process photography. ⁣

⁣I found my old Swiss drafting tools and painstakingly crafted a series of camera models, of which this is one. This print will be on 9-mil Epson Premium Presentation Matte paper that I printed on my own press.⁣ Each print is supplied with provenance for collectors.
