This is one of my last designs in 1977 for Polaroid photo products. It’s still on the market today after several iterations. It’s a one-piece plastic camera that cost less than the SX-70 and used the same film. 

I had to revert back to the very familiar color stripes to establish a connection to brand and because the product design featured those stripes just below the camera lens.

Much time was spent with the acetate front window to get it just right for production. Fortunately that was the sole responsibility of Polaroid’s packaging engineers. This print will be on 9-mil Epson Premium Presentation Matte paper that I printed on my own press.⁣ Each print is supplied with provenance for collectors.
